The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) and the visiting Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI), observed Lapeer's basketball team overcome Brandon by a score of 45-26.

The Lightning (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 2-0 record.
