Arizona High School Basketball - Globe overwhelms Catalina
December 10, 2024: Tucson, AZ 85716 The Globe Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Catalina Trojans to 13 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Benson for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Globe will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 57-24 non-league win over Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Catalina falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Ray (Kearny, AZ) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 0-6. Ray lost 35-12 in their recent non-league game against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ)
