Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 75-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Foard advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Tigers host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to meet the Raiders in a 3A Western Foothills match on Friday, December 20. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 4-2.

The Ironmen now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Island Charter for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. Cherryville will meet a Raptors squad coming off a 44-13 non-league win over Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 4-1.
