Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), 31-25 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cornerstone Christian School advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 0-2.

The Raiders now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmyra for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Mead will face a Panthers squad coming off a 59-20 non-league loss to Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
