Texas High School Basketball - Crowley can't get by Granbury
December 10, 2024: Crowley, TX 76036 Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX), 52-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Granbury advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 5 match on Friday, December 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 11-3. Fossil Ridge won 47-39 in their recent non-league match against Ponder (Ponder, TX)
The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Crowley for a 6A Region I District 3 match on Tuesday, December 17.
