Florida High School Basketball - Edgewood routs Merritt Island Christian

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Edgewood Red Wolves basketball team scored a big 64-34 triumph over the Merritt Island Christian Cougars.

The Red Wolves (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Shore (Melbourne, FL). The Wildcats go into the 2A District 6 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, West Shore was trounced by Edgewood (Merritt Island, FL), 55-15, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds (Fort Pierce, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Merritt Island Christian will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 93-13 non-league win over Rockledge (Rockledge, FL).
