California High School Basketball - Esparto holds off San Juan
December 10, 2024: Esparto, CA 95627 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Esparto Spartans basketball team scored a close 35-29 triumph over the San Juan Spartans.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA). The Explorers go into the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Westlake Charter was tipped by John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills (El Dorado Hills, CA), 36-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Florin Panthers (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. San Juan will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 57-25 non-league loss to Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA).
