December 10, 2024: Keller, TX 76248 The Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 47-39 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, December 13. Fossil Ridge will play a Pirates team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Ponder falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, December 13. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Pilot Point lost 59-33 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX)
