Michigan High School Basketball - Gabriel Richard holds off Goodrich
December 10, 2024: Ann Arbor, MI 48105 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish basketball team scored a close 59-53 triumph over the Goodrich Martians.
The Fighting Irish (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Livonia, MI). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin nipped Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Martians confront the Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) in a Flint Metro contest, on Friday, December 13. Goodrich will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 50-25 non-league loss to Davison (Davison, MI).
