December 10, 2024: Thompson's Station, TN 37179 Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Whites Creek Cobras (Whites Creek, TN), 1-0 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Independence advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Nolensville (Nolensville, TN) to face the Knights in a 4A District 10 match on Friday, December 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 6-1. Nolensville won 57-19 in their recent non-league match against Spring Hill (Columbia, TN)
The Cobras now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antioch for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Whites Creek will face a Bears squad coming off a 33-27 non-league win over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet (Nashville, TN). The Bears record now stands at 2-4.
