In Tuesday's non-league test, the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) basketball squad trounced the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), by a score of 61-23.

Next, the Roughriders clash with the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) in a 5A Desert West test, on Friday, December 13. Youngker will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 69-11 league win over Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ).
