In Tuesday's non-league test, the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) basketball squad defeated the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), by a final score of 49-40.

Next, the Bengals clash with the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Lucy Beckham will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Swamp Foxes come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 77-17 non-league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).

The Cyclones (1-4) will now prepare for their test against West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, West Ashley overcame Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC), 73-12, in a non-league test.
