Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wyalusing Valley defeats Shamokin Area
December 10, 2024: Wyalusing, PA 18853 The Wyalusing Valley Rams (Wyalusing, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 51-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Rams now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Canton for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Wyalusing Valley will play a Warriors team coming off a 43-9 non-league loss to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Shamokin Area falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Danville (Danville, PA) to play the Ironmen in a Heartland I bout on Thursday, December 12. The Ironmen go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Danville lost 54-11 in their recent non-league bout against Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA)
