Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Moreland thwarts Wissahickon
December 10, 2024: Ambler, PA 19002 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) and the host Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), observed Upper Moreland's basketball team knock off Wissahickon by a score of 45-26.
The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against William Tennent (Warminster, PA). The Panthers come into the Suburban One - Freedom challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, William Tennent was knocked off by Council Rock North (Newtown, PA), 41-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Villa Joseph Marie Jems (Holland, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Wissahickon will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Jems come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Pennridge (Perkasie, PA).
