December 10, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 The Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 42-25 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Glen Allen for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Godwin will play a Jaguars team coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Mechanicsville falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12.
