Virginia High School Basketball - Nelson County defeats Buffalo Gap
December 10, 2024: Swoope, VA 24479 The Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) basketball were winner over the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 50-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Governors now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Nelson County will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 39-38 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Buffalo Gap falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Stonewall Jackson won 40-34 in their recent non-league bout against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)
