Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), 41-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Crescenta Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 5-3. Grant won 88-23 in their recent league match against Chavez (San Fernando, CA)

The Dons now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arleta for a match on Wednesday, January 8. Verdugo Hills will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 94-53 non-league win over Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-7.
