California High School Basketball - Rio Americano sneaks past Elk Grove
December 10, 2024: Elk Grove, CA 95624 The Rio Americano Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd to 51 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Del Oro nipped Placer (Auburn, CA), 85-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Thundering Herd battle the River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Elk Grove will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 59-47 non-league win over River City (West Sacramento, CA).
