December 10, 2024: Lenoir, NC 28645 Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 68-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Watauga upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 1-4.
The Warriors now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patton for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. West Caldwell will face a Panthers squad coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
