In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Benzie Central Huskies basketball team scored a big 73-46 win over the Kingsley Stags.

The Huskies (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Portagers come into the Northwest contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Onekama was trounced by Pine River Area (Leroy, MI), 43-37, in a non-league match.

The Stags now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Rapids for a Nothern Shores match on Friday, December 12. Kingsley will face a Elks squad coming off a 68-33 non-league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Elks record now stands at 2-2.
