In Wednesday's non-league test, the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) basketball squad routed the host Bush Blazers (Seattle, WA), by a count of 62-37.

With the victory, Orcas Island advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings host Coupeville (Coupeville, WA) to battle the Wolves in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge on Friday, December 12. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Coupeville won 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] (Port Townsend, WA)
