North Carolina High School Basketball - Clinton triumphant over North Duplin
December 10, 2025: Clinton, NC 28328 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) and the visiting North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC), observed Clinton's basketball team overwhelm North Duplin by a score of 76-42.
The Dark Horses (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Hobbton was routed by Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 83-51, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Rebels meet the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Friday, December 12. North Duplin will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Gators enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).
