The Clovis West Golden Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting McClatchy Lions to 43 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league outing on Friday, December 19. Clovis West will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 81-65 non-league win over Overland (Aurora, CO). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
