The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), observed Gilbert Christian's basketball team knock off Sabino by a score of 56-36.

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers come into the 3A Metro challenge with a 5-1 record.

The Sabercats now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coolidge for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Sabino will meet a Bears squad coming off a 77-45 non-league win over Empire (Tucson, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 7-0.
