North Carolina High School Basketball - Morehead toppled by Lexington Senior

December 10, 2025: Eden, NC 27288

Lexington Senior Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) backers went home thrilled Wednesday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), 46-37 in a non-league contest.

The Yellowjackets (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Thomasville topped Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 58-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Morehead will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 58-49 non-league win over Trinity (Trinity, NC).
