The Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) basketball edged the host Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), 42-41 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Oasis Academy for a 2A Northern bout on Friday, December 12. Sierra Lutheran will play a Bighorns team coming off a 45-21 non-league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Bighorns record now stands at 1-3.
