Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Avonworth trounces Ambridge
December 11, 2021: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 75-39 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Antelopes (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Deer Lakes was trounced by Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA), 61-40, in a non-league test.
The Bridgers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Moon Area for a non-league test on Monday, December 13. Ambridge will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 67-37 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
