Texas High School Basketball - Austin fells Elgin
December 11, 2021: Elgin, TX 78621 Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), 47-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Austin upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Maroons host Anderson (Austin, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Anderson lost 54-45 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Manor New Tech (Manor, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Hyde Park (Austin, TX).
