In Saturday's non-league outing, the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) basketball squad felled the visiting Del Norte Tigers (Del Norte, CO), by a margin of 54-42.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO). The Mustangs go into the 3A Tri-Peaks outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Manitou Springs was beaten by Kent Denver (Englewood, CO), 109-85, in a non-league outing.
