The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) basketball knocked off the host Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX), 80-65 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hurricanes (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Terry (Rosenberg, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region III District 24 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Terry went down by New Caney (New Caney, TX), 61-36, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Falls for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 14. Ridge Point will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 51-44 non-league win over Clear Creek (League City, TX). The Knights record now stands at 11-3.
