Hammond Wolves (Hammond, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 94-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hammond upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Gary West Side (Gary, IN) to play the Cougars in a Great Lakes bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Gary West Side lost 38-34 in their recent non-league test against Lake Central (St. John, IN)

The Wolves now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Chicago Central for a non-league test on Thursday, December 16. Michigan City will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 53-34 non-league loss to Munster (Munster, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
