December 11, 2021: Butler, PA 16001 The Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) basketball felled the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), 55-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Golden Tornado (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Franklin Regional thwarted Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA), 43-39, in a non-league test.
The Chucks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Clearfield for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 15. Punxsutawney will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 69-32 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Bison record now stands at 1-0.
