In Saturday's non-league match, the host Steel Valley Ironmen basketball team scored a decisive 51-16 triumph over the Northgate Flames.

In their next game, the Ironmen meet the Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 13. Steel Valley will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
