December 11, 2021: Sarasota, FL 34231 The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Riverview Sarasota Rams to 49 in the Fightin' Tarpons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fightin' Tarpons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parrish Community for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 15. Charlotte will battle a Bulls team coming off a 67-35 non-league win over Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 6-1.
The Rams (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lakewood Ranch prevailed over Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL), 61-55, in a non-league contest.
