California High School Basketball - Ayala nips Don Lugo
December 11, 2023: Chino, CA 91710 Ayala Bulldogs (Chino Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA), 63-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ayala upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Mark Keppel won 56-32 in their recent non-league bout against West (Torrance, CA)
Next up, the Conquistadores play the Montclair Cavaliers (Montclair, CA) in a Mt. Baldy bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Don Lugo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Charter Oak (Covina, CA).
