Michigan High School Basketball - Saranac can't hold off Belding
December 11, 2023: Saranac, MI 48881 The Belding Black Knights basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Saranac Redhawks to 46 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Black Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muskegon Heights Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Belding will battle a team coming off a 66-31 non-league loss to Northview (Grand Rapids, MI). The record now stands at 0-1.
The Redhawks (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lansing Christian (Lansing, MI). The Pilgrims come into the Central Michigan contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Lansing Christian edged Jackson Christian (Jackson, MI), 59-35, in a non-league contest.
