Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN) and the host Bolton Wildcats (Arlington, TN), saw Melrose's basketball squad hold off Bolton by a tally of 74-71.

With the victory, Melrose improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Golden Wildcats travel to Tennessee Preparatory Academy (Memphis, TN) to confront the Diplomat Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Diplomat Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
