Tennessee High School Basketball - Middle College fells Brighton
December 11, 2023: Memphis, TN 38104 Middle College Bulldogs (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN), 54-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Middle College upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Soulsville (Memphis, TN) to clash with the Revolution in a 1A District 15 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Revolution go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Soulsville lost 62-15 in their recent league bout against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Harding Academy Lions (Memphis, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 78-58 non-league win over Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN).
