December 11, 2023: East Dubuque, IL 61025 In Monday's non-league outing, the East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI), by a count of 62-48.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Byron (Byron, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Byron defeated Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL), 63-43, in a non-league outing.
The Cubans now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities outing on Tuesday, December 12. Cuba City will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 58-55 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-4.
