December 11, 2023: Springfield, MO 65804 The Greenwood Blue Jays basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Purdy Eagles to 38 in the Blue Jays non-league victory on Monday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weaubleau for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Greenwood will meet a Tigers team coming off a 80-39 non-league win over Early (Morrisville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Purdy moves to 0-3 on the year. The Eagles host Pierce City (Pierce City, MO) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-1. Pierce City won 49-22 in their recent non-league match against McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO)
