December 11, 2023: Mayer, MN 55360 The Mayer Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Loyola Crusaders to 47 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mayer Lutheran will battle a Titans team coming off a 77-46 league loss to Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Titans record now stands at 0-3.
The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nicollet (Nicollet, MN). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Nicollet was defeated by Sibley East (Arlington, MN), 97-49, in a non-league contest.
