The Middletown Knights basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles to 56 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walkersville for a CMC contest on Thursday, December 14. Middletown will meet a Lions team coming off a 75-20 league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
The Orioles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Perry Hall Christian (Perry Hall, MD). The enter the Maryland Independent League contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Perry Hall Christian was outscored by Greater Grace Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD), 60-48, in a league contest.
