Ohio High School Basketball - Waite ripped by Maumee
December 11, 2023: Maumee, OH 43537 The Maumee Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Waite Indians to 57 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Genoa Area for a Northern Buckeye contest on Friday, December 15. Maumee will meet a Comets team coming off a 57-51 league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH). The Comets record now stands at 2-1.
The Indians (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Start (Toledo, OH). The Spartans enter the Toledo City contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Start triumphed over Rogers (Toledo, OH), 43-35, in a league contest.
