Iowa High School Basketball - Mercer beaten by Mormon Trail
December 11, 2023: Garden Grove, IA 50103 The Mormon Trail Saints overcame the visiting Mercer Tigers basketball squad by a count of 64-47 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Mormon Trail upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to play the Saints in a Bluegrass bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Melcher-Dallas lost 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI) in a Northern Lights bout, on Thursday, December 14. Mercer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Midgets come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 81-21 league loss to Mellen (Mellen, WI).
