Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montrose tipped by Towanda
December 11, 2023: Towanda, PA 18848 The Towanda Black Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Montrose Meteors to 54 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Black Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canton for a Northern Tier contest on Wednesday, December 13. Towanda will meet a Warriors team coming off a 43-38 non-league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
The Meteors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Old Forge nudged Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA), 52-23, in a non-league contest.
