Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Apollo Ridge trounces Valley
December 11, 2023: Spring Church, PA 15686 The Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), 48-14 in Monday's non-league test.
The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, St. Joseph walloped Avella (Avella, PA), 63-24, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Derry for a WPIAL 4A 1 test on Monday, December 18. Valley will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 64-29 league loss to Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
