December 11, 2023: Metairie, LA 70003 The Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) basketball crushed the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), 52-12 in Monday's non-league test.
The Chipmunks (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Covington (Covington, LA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Covington was trounced by Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 52-18, in a non-league test.
The Tarpons now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Central Lafourche for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. South Lafourche will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 55-23 non-league win over A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.
