Kentucky High School Basketball - Elliott County overwhelmed by Boyd County
December 11, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 The Boyd County Lions basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Elliott County Lions to 34 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Boyd County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-50 league win over Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Fleming County triumphed over Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 63-51, in a league contest.
