The Foundation Academy Lions basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Cocoa Beach Minutemen to 16 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tohopekaliga for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12.

The Minutemen (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Merritt Island Christian (Merritt Island, FL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Merritt Island Christian triumphed over City of Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL), 62-22, in a non-league contest.
