December 11, 2023: Colby, WI 54421 Colby Hornets (Colby, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stanley-Boyd Orioles (Stanley, WI), 56-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Colby upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Hornets host Athens (Athens, WI) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Athens won 48-40 in their recent non-league bout against Stratford (Stratford, WI)
Next up, the Orioles clash with the Cadott Hornets (Cadott, WI) in a Cloverbelt - West bout, on Thursday, December 14. Stanley-Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 62-35 league win over Thorp (Thorp, WI).
